One-click actions in SketchUp: from box to full corpus, from a flat face to a finished door. Plus an external platform for material lists, material management, and cost calculation.
Context
Furniture makers work in SketchUp from mass box (client proposal) to technical build-out. The core question: how do you reduce repeatable cabinet steps to a single click — without losing grip on materials and cost?
Problem
Going from box to corpus or from a flat face to a door meant hours of manual copying, measuring, and tagging. Material lists lived outside the model — error-prone for production and cost calculation.
Approach
Key idea: one-click actions. We built Multiplugin platform around actions that deliver in a single click — box → full corpus, flat face → finished door — tied to a tag system and an external platform for materials and cost.
Solution
SketchUp Ruby plugin with wizards like ‘Box to corpus’ (dimensions, materials, division, fronts) and Multitag filter (parts, quantities, m², lm). External web platform (Next.js + Supabase) for material management and cost calculation; API sync so the material list from the model matches the catalog.
Outcome
Makers turn a mass box into a full corpus — or a flat face into a finished door — in one click. Tags and quantities feed the material list on the external platform immediately — for management and costing, without double entry.
Tree inspections for Greenlightbeheer
Inspectors worked with paper and GPS notes. Treepin is a tablet app (Next.js + Capacitor) with offline sync, Mapbox maps, and Supabase auth. Inspections: from €50–150 down to €10–30, clients see live insights.
